TAB RECREATION 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Tab Recreation is a Christ-centered program which seeks to empower youth by building relationships through sports.

As seen in the picture below, prayer is an important element of our program. Our goal is to pray as a group before games, as teams before practices, and in small groups when requested. In 2016, a new Vision Renewal document was developed by Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. This document encourages the Church members, staff, and the ministries of the Church to focus on the following three "pillars":

          Greater Faith
          Deeper Relationships
          A Strong Community

To this end, Tab Recreation will endeavor to provide spiritual lessons that will empower our youth to grow in their faith in God and strengthen their character through the lesson learn from playing sports.

*Tab Recreation is a ministry of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church since 1924. The current Director, Chaplain, and Commissioner of Recreation are Ben Hughes, Nigel Foreman, and Steve Summerville, respectively.
